Welcome to the Howard High Music Department Web site. You'll find information about the various instrumental and vocal groups at our school. The purpose of this site is to communicate to students and parents about future activities, as well as past events. The site will also showcase the talents of our young musicians.

Instrumental Music Awards Banquet
Howard High School Instrumental Music Department cordially invites your family to the Annual Awards & Recognition Celebration for all Band, Orchestra and Dance Team Members.
- May 12, 2009 6:30 – 8:30 HHS Cafeteria
- Dinner will be catered this year! Menu: Fajita Bar: Beef, Chicken, Garden Salad, Rice, Beans and all the fixings; Lemonade/Water; Cake/Cookies
- RSVP: By May 5, 2009 (Download the response card)
- Cost: $10 per person/Checks to HHS Band sent to Mr. Campbell and Mr. Denne

Call for Booster Officers
We are looking to fill out the Boosters' officers slate for next year. A number of the current officers have agreed to stay on, but we are looking for some key positions to be filled by "graduating" parents. If you would be interested, please let John Sayre know. The positions require very little time, but are a great way to stay in the know and more closely tied to your student's activities.We are looking for the volunteers for the following:
- Vice-President at Large (Social Activities Chair)
- Vice-President of Orchestra (Liaison to Strings groups)
- Secretary at Large (Recording Secretary)
- Information Technology Administrator (Webmaster)
- Concert Committee Chair
